With King Charles' Coronation just two days away, the nation is gearing up for a weekend of classically British pomp and pageantry. From the coronation ceremony itself, which will begin early on Saturday morning (May 6), to the Big Lunch, to the Coronation Concert, the weekend is set to be packed full of televised events from the capital and local celebrations.
As the first coronation in more than 70 years, after Queen Elizabeth was crowned in 1952, the city has gone all out in preparing for a new monarch. The ceremony will be screened live on an open-air screen at the Bristol & Bath Science Park (with free entry over Saturday and Sunday) while Bristolians across the city throw dozens of street parties.
To make sure you don't miss a thing, here is a look at everything we know so far about the weekend - what is taking place day-by-day and what Royal fans at home can expect.
