Coronation Street actor Jon-Paul Bell has joined Hollyoaks as he takes on his third soap role.
Fans will recognise him as dodgy lawyer Ben Chancellor, who went head-to-head with Imran Habeeb, but he will now star in rival Channel 4 soap as Beau.
Teasing his appearance in the village next month, he said: "Working on Hollyoaks has been an incredible experience and I'm so honoured to be a part of the passionate, creative, hard-working team here.
“I can't wait for viewers to meet Beau and follow him on his exciting new journey into the village where he is sure to cause a stir for various well-known characters along the way”.
Alongside Corrie, he also appeared in Emmerdale as Austin Ascot and has popped up in Doctors as Liam Bright and PC Tony Milne.
Jon-Paul's character Ben left Corrie earlier this year after being blackmailed by Abi Webster (Sally Carman-Duttine).
Abi had discovered that Imran had hired Ben to find dirt on her to sabotage her own case to get custody of Alfie.
However, Abi was able to blackmail the lawyer after recording him buying drugs for himself from a dealer in a car.
Away from the soap world, Jon-Paul previously appeared in Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks' TV series Masters of the Air, which is set to air on Applt TV+ later this year.
Meanwhile, former Hollyoaks star Adam Rickitt was left in tears as he revealed he was the victim of an elaborate payment scam where crooks made off with "tens of thousands of pounds".
Adam, 44, said he felt "stupid" for getting tricked and claimed that the convincing scammers "knew everything about him".
Wanting to share his story so others didn't fall for the same trick, he took to Instagram : "CONFESSION TIME! I know a lot of people will laugh at me for this...but I want to make sure it doesn't happen to anyone else.
"I got completely scammed this week by some fraudsters impersonating @barclaysuk."
He said how he got a text from what he thought was Barclays bank, warning him that there had been "suspicious activity" on his account.
