Coronation Street viewers are concerned Carla may soon feel the murderous wrath of Stephen.
Stephen entered the underwear factory only to be met with the news he's been demoted to office manager. Carla was prepared to handle the upcoming drama head-on, channelling Miranda Priestly and shooing him on despite his grievances.
After a catty back and forth, where Carla didn't appear to be bothered by her executive decisions, Stephen promised her she made a grave mistake and that he'd be speaking to his lawyer.

After storming out, he made his way to the Rovers Return for a quick debrief with a fellow coworker. This isn't the first time Carla has dealt a firm hand to her workers but some viewers are concerned she's picked a fight with the wrong person.
One viewer said: "Stephen if you hurt our Queen Carla there will be war." Another added: "Carla needs to watch her back, Roof Box Roger is getting itchy killy fingers."
While a third said: "Omg Carla is next." A final viewer added: "Vile, nasty, twisted! Stephen can't get his own way, so sulks like a child by throwing his teddy out of the pram....and then decides he wants Carla."
Stephen has already killed twice -first pushing Leo to his death and bludgeoning his father, Teddy, after he suspected his son was murdered. So far everyone involved in the murder spree has been dealt with which means Stephen's tracks remain covered.
He eventually returned to the factory to offer Carla a drink as a "peace gesture" but unbeknownst to her, it was spiked.
