The new group of Islanders to arrive in the villa has been announced by Love Island - and among the lineup is the daughter of a Coronation Street star. Returning to our TV screens on Monday, June 8, the show is back in Mallorca and will be hosted by Maya Jama.
A group of singletons hope to find love in the 10th series of Love Island. They will need to do their best to flirt and couple up in order to keep their place on the Island.
This year’s contestants includes Tyrique Hyde, who plays for Lewes FC, the son of former Premier League player Micah Hyde who played for Watford from 1997 to 2004. But he isn’t the only one with a famous connection.

Also looking for love in the Villa is Molly Marsh, a 21-year-old musical theatre performer and social media creator. Her mum is Janet Marsh, who’s appeared in Coronation Street three times.
Janet made her debut on the cobbles in 2005, playing the role of a nurse. She later returned to play a receptionist at the Scott-Roe Clinic in March 2008, followed by a third appearance as an ITU nurse in 2009.
The actress has starred in other shows including Where The Heart Is, Bodies, In The Dark and Still Open All Hours, as well as doing regular voice work.
Speaking about going on the show, Molly said: “I think it’s ideal timing and the perfect way to find someone. I don’t go out and party and I don’t use dating apps, I’m actually quite old-fashioned, so there’s no better way to meet someone than by going into a Villa in the sun with the potential ‘one’ in there.”
Love Island will be on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm on Monday, June 8.
