Coronation Street star Ryan Prescott has been flooded with messages from fans after he shared a moving post about appearing in the ITV soap. The actor, who has been winning enormous praise for his portrayal of Ryan Connor, shared a series of images on social media in somewhat of a tribute to his time on the cobbles.
It comes as spoilers for next week's Corrie revealed Ryan looks set to leave the cobbles months after suffering life-chaning injuries in a horrifying acid attack. But what we known is quite limited as it was said that when Peter Barlow reveals that Ryan is leaving for Ireland, Daisy Midgeley rushes off.
It comes after she was exposed for catfishing Ryan following the attack carried out by her stalker Justin Rutherford on her wedding day to Daniel Osbourne. Daisy was behind the text messages from 'Crystal', the Ibiza club promoter who ditched Ryan after learning of his horror injuries.

The truth, however, came spilling out and Ryan later angrily held Daisy accountable in the Rovers. The outing of the truth also came after the pair shared not one but two secret kisses behind Daniel's back.
And with his exit now seemingly on the horizon, actor Ryan took to Instagram with a string of behind the scenes images taken during filming. Ryan could also be seen in the makeup room, where he spent time being applied with special FX makeup to recreate his character's scars.
Ryan was also seen smiling with his co-stars Charlotte Jordan (Daisy), Elle Mulvaney (Amy Barlow) and Tanisah Gorey (Asha Alahan) at the recent TRIC Awards where they glammed-up and headed out to represent Corrie.
"What we do for a living becomes so much of the life we live," Ryan started the caption of his post. "I’m lucky enough to work among those that get to tell stories in what we do. It is a privilege to perform for those of you tuning in. Often it takes times of real stress for us to step back for a moment and remind ourselves of the ways in which we are truly grateful."
He then added: "Thanks for all the love and following our stories @coronationstreet. We do all we can to tell them in ways in which we really mean it."
And it wan't long before the comments section was filled with messages praising the soap star and also begging him not to leave. @charlottevsp4 said: "Ryan you’re a incredible actor!!! I hope you get some awards and recognition soon. You have done incredible recently."
@vickyhfrench commented: "You’re an absolute incredible actor, thank you for sharing your talent with us." @andy_waverley wrote: "You’re doing a great job Ryan , you make it look easy but obviously long hours and hard work." @jen_ny_1979 shared: "Hugely talented young man, please never leave Corrie!"
Another fan added: "Yes so great watching you- hopefully this is not you leaving the street anytime soon" A last agreed and echoed: “I love you in Corrie please don’t leave."
