Coronation Street star Sally Ann Matthews has revealed a behind-the-scenes secret behind upcoming scenes in the ITV soap after Daisy Midgeley's catfishing of Ryan Connor was exposed.
This week on the cobbles, viewers saw Daisy having to confess to Ryan that she was behind the text messages from Crystal after the penny drop and he had already figured out the truth. The pair have been brought closer in recent months through their shared trauma after the horrifying acid attack.
Barmaid Daisy, played by Charlotte Jordan, was the intended victim of the heinous crime carried out by her stalker Justin Rutherford on her wedding day. However, unaware of what he was about to do, Ryan stepped in and bared the brunt of the attack leaving him with life-changing injuries.
