A pregnancy surprise, a blast from the past and returning faces are what Coronation Street fans can expect next week. After plenty of predictions that Sarah Barlow will fall pregnant following her bunk-ups with Damon Hay, it appears fans of the ITV soap will be proven right.
Sarah joins Dee-Dee in the Rovers, but as she takes a sip of her wine, she baulks and worried she might be pregnant, hurries out. Back at home, Sarah looks at her positive pregnancy test in total shock. Stealing herself, she hands Adam the pregnancy test and admits that she doesn’t know who the father is leaving Adam reeling in shock.
Sarah attends a DNA appointment and does her best to remain positive but will Adam be by her side to support her when she gets the news? Later, Adam finds Sarah and Michael celebrating in the Rovers and when Sarah enthuses about businessman Owen and his passion for Nippersnapper, Adam takes the hump and leaves.

Elsewhere on the cobbles, Roy Cropper shows Evelyn Plummer the schedule he’s drawn up for dog Freddie’s care. But when Evelyn discovers she’s got Freddie whilst Roy takes Yasmeen to a meeting of the Historical Society, she’s less than impressed.
As Evelyn grumbles to Tyrone about Roy spending time with Yasmeen, unbeknownst to them, they're being watched by Evelyn's daughter and Tyrone's mum, Cassandra Plummer. Following Tyrone’s advice, Evelyn steals herself and invites Yasmeen and Roy to join her later at the bistro.
But as Evelyn heads home, she spots Cassie across the street but chooses to ignore her. On her way to the bistro, she receives a call which stops her in her tracks. As Roy and Yasmeen wait for Evelyn, she's nowhere near the cobbles as she hurries into A&E reception and explains that her daughter has been admitted as an emergency.
Later in the week, Evelyn receives a call from the hospital but chooses to ignore it. After much soul searching Evelyn calls at the hospital only to discover Cassie has discharged herself. Evelyn returns home to be met by Tyrone who reveals that someone called Cath has come to see her.
However, Evelyn enters the living room and is horrified to see Cassie grinning at her from the sofa. When Tyrone enquires how they know each other, Evelyn’s thrown into panic as her lies about her grandson's biological mother being dead face spilling out.
Meanwhile, Max Turner is facing people from his recent past left right and centre. When Max heads towards Bec’s flat, Gav approaches and explains that he’s been released from the STC and he intends to marry Bec. However, when Max reveals that Bec has moved on and she’s going out with him now, Gav’s furious and grabs him.
Spotting Bec, Max shouts at her to run, but has Bec got her own secrets? Later, Max is shocked when Lauren approaches, revealing that she fell out with her mum, wants nothing more to do with her dad or his right-wing mates, and spent last night kipping in the bus station. Feeling sorry for her, Max takes her to the café.
But that's not the end of Max being reminded about what's happened in recent months as Max will be heard telling Spider Nugent that the CPS want him to make a statement for Griff’s trial. Spider encourages him to do the right thing. With Shona Platt at his side, Max meets with the CPS lawyer and confirms he’s willing to make a statement about how Griff groomed and manipulated him.
Also on the cobbles, Bernie orders Paul and Billy to enjoy some quality time together while she cleans the flat. Billy suggests Paul should come up with a bucket list while he’s still fit enough. Gemma organises a game of darts and to give Paul a chance, instructs Billy, Todd and Bernie to throw with their weaker hands leaving Paul touched.
Afterwards, Bernie and Gemma tell Paul and Billy about their idea for a chilli-eating competition to raise funds for Paul’s equipment. Meanwhile, Paul discusses religion and sexuality with Billy.
Giving him food for thought, Billy later suggests to Paul that he could baptise him, but Paul refuses, adamant it’s not for him. But when Dee-Dee talks to Paul about her religion, about how it’s brought her comfort, will he reconsider?
