Coronation Street's Simon Gregson has signed up for a new TV show.
The soap star is renowned for his role as Steve McDonald on the Cobbles. However, the 47-year-old will is set to undergo a makeover for a one-off special titled Queens For The Night.
The show will see a number of celebrities "unleash their drag alter-egos" in a bid to be crowned the winning queen of the evening. Steve will be joined by fellow soap star, Adam Woodyatt, renowned for his role as Ian Beale.

Lorraine Kelly will host the show and she spoke of her excitement for the project. She said: "I am a huge fan of drag and can not wait to see a host of well-known stars embrace this uniquely wonderful and uplifting skill. It’s a show that will have humour, warmth and above all lots and lots of glamour, I can’t wait to get started."
Other celebrity contestants include TV fitness instructor Mr Motivator, Love Island's Chris Hughes and rugby player Joe Marler. They will be paired up with their own drag mentor as they learn to master the craft and take part in challenges including lip syncing, impressions and wearing heels.
The drag mentors include queens La Voix, Myra DuBois, Margo Marshall as well as RuPaul's Drag Race UK's Blu Hydrangea, Kitty Scott-Claus and Asttina Mandella. The judges include Mel C and Courtney Act.
