  • Coronation Street viewers have finally discovered the identity of Theo Silverton's killer after a two-month whodunnit.
  • It was revealed on Monday, 22 June, that Sarah Platt, portrayed by Tina O’Brien, was responsible for his death.
  • Platt killed Silverton by hitting him over the head with a metal pole while they were on scaffolding, causing him to fall to his death.
  • Behind-the-scenes footage released by ITV showed actors James Cartwright and Tina O’Brien filming the pivotal murder scene.
  • O’Brien admitted she was concerned about accidentally striking her co-star with the prop during the dramatic filming.
