Coronation Street set tours to return in March

Corrie fans will be able to return to the cobbles next month, with tours of the iconic TV set due to resume on March 12.

It comes after a two-year hiatus for the official tour, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The tours run on selected weekends at the MediaCItyUK location, the largest working TV lot in the country.

Fans are shown around Coronation Street, Rosamund Street and Victoria Street, taking in attractions like the Rover’s, Roy’s Rolls and the Kabin.

The tour’s general manager, Steve Masters, said: “Even with all the drama unfolding on our screens over the last couple of years, those cobbles haven’t half been quiet and we’ve missed sharing them with all our guests.

“But, it’s going to be well worth the wait and we look forward to welcoming our first guests back on the street next month.”

The first dates available will be the weekend of March 12, right up to May 2.

The tour takes around 90 minutes, and costs £35 per person, £32.50 for under 8s and carers go free.
