Stephen Reid has fooled his family into thinking he really wants to help mum Audrey Roberts - but Coronation Street viewers have seen the truth behind his suave façade.
From secretly shopping Kevin Webster into the police to using a mystery woman's credit card and pushing Audrey to sign the paperwork, fans have been left very suspicious.
And next week on the cobbles, Stephen's concerning behaviour continues as he appears to be plotting to scam his niece Sarah.
While at the factory, Carla begins to get frustrated as she tries to secure a fabric order.
As she struggles, Stephen begins to try and get into Sarah's head as he tells her that she's clearly the brains of the factory and that she should consider buying Carla out.
Later, Stephen announces that he's managed to secure the fabric order at a great price and takes Sarah out for a drink.
As the pair chat, Sarah opens up to her uncle about her business ideas with Stephen and asks him to help to prove to Carla that she knows what she's talking about.
On Wednesday, Sarah attempts to put pressure on Carla to hire Stephen on a consultancy basis, but she's unsure.
Carla voices her concerns about Stephen to Peter and Ken, but Ken suggests that his intentions are honourable.
Following Ken's advice, Carla agrees to hire Stephen to do some consultancy work. Later at No. 8. Stephen suggests that Sarah take out a loan to expand the business herself.
What is Stephen up to and will he really scam his own niece?
