Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor has paid an emotional tribute to her eldest daughter who turns 28 today.
Sally made her first appearance as Sally Webster on Coronation Street in 1986 and is a firm favourite with soap fans. During her time on the cobbles, Sally has been at the centre of some dramatic storylines.
In the soap, Sally Metcalfe has been married a staggering four times. However, in real life, Sally has been happily married to husband Tim Dynevor since 1995.

The couple have three children; Phoebe, 28, Sam, 26, and Hattie, 19. On Monday, Sally shared a number of photos of Phoebe, who some Corrie fans may not know is famous in her own right.
Acting appears to run in the genes, as Phoebe starred as Daphne Bridgerton in both series of Netflix's steamy period drama. The actress has also starred in Amazon series 10 Percent and has roles in upcoming films.
As the star turned 28, her mum wrote on Instagram: "Happy Birthday Phoebe. I can’t believe our beautiful baby is now 28. We love you so much xxx".
Brooke Vincent, who played Sally's on-screen daughter Sophie for 15 years, said: "Happy Birthday Phoebe xxxxx", while Jenny Connor star Sally Ann Matthews said: "Like it was yesterday. Where has the time gone?? Happy birthday Phoebe x", and Ellie Leach, who plays Faye Windass, added: "Happy birthday Phoebe".
