Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor has flown to New York this week for a well-earned family holiday.
The star made her first appearance as Sally Webster on Coronation Street in 1986 and is a firm favourite with soap fans. During her time on the cobbles, Sally has been at the centre of some dramatic storylines.
In the soap, Sally Metcalfe has been married a staggering four times. However, in real life, Sally has been happily married to husband Tim Dynevor since 1995.

The two share three children: Phoebe, 27, Sam, 25, and Hattie, 18. The family is currently enjoying a holiday across the pond in New York, with both parents having uploaded a number of snaps on Instagram.
What some soap fans may not know is acting seems to run in Sally's genes. Her eldest daughter Phoebe Dynevor starred as Daphne Bridgerton in both series of Netflix's steamy period drama.
The actress has also starred in Amazon series 10 Percent and has roles in upcoming films. On Monday, Sally shared a snap of Phoebe, alongside younger sister Hattie, walking along the iconic streets of New York.
Captioning the snap, the 59-year-old simply said: "My girls [heart emoji]". Brooke Vincent, who played Sally's on-screen daughter Sophie for 15 years commented a series of heart-eye emojis.
Fans were also quick to compliment the women. Gillian Walsh said: "What a great pic", while Lynda Angus said: "Beautiful girls". Linda Trow said: "Gorgeous girls just like their mom".
