Former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas has announced he will return to our TV screens.
The 38-year-old, best known for his portrayal of Jason Grimshaw on the cobbles, is engaged to former TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh. She gave birth to their second child, Lilah Rae, in May.
The pair have son Roman, two, together. Ryan also shares daughter Scarlett, 13, with his ex and fellow Corrie star Tina O'Brien.

In an honest Instagram post on Monday, the ex Jason Grimshaw actor admitted his latest challenge has seen him "out of his comfort zone". Fans will be thrilled to know he is soon set to return to television.
The social media post included a snap of Ryan wearing an iconic MasterChef apron. Captioning the post, he said: "Life’s all about stepping outside your comfort zone setting yourself a challenge this one certainly ticked that box. Coming soon to BBC One & BBC iplayer"
Soap stars, past and present, rushed to wish him well. Amy Walsh, who plays Tracy in Emmerdale, said: "Omg can’t wait!", while Brooke Vincent, who played Sophie Webster on the cobbles for 15 years, said: "Stopppppppp ittttttttt" [sic].
EastEnders stalwart Dean Gaffney said: "The best gig", and Kelvin Fletcher - who is best known as Emmerdale's Andy Sugden - said: "Oh yesssss!" [sic].
