Coronation Street star Rebecca Ryan has announced that she's expecting her first child with husband Dan Acraman.
The actor, 31, shared the news with fans on Instagram this afternoon. She made the announcement alongside a series of photos in which she showcased her growing bump.
Rebecca - who played Lydia Chambers on the ITV soap, prior to her departure earlier this year - told her followers that she "can't wait" for her baby's arrival next year.
She wrote in the caption: "I thought this year couldn't get any better after marrying the man of my dreams but it turns out it can ... Can't wait to become a mummy in 2023".
The recent post included three photos of Rebecca, with her cradling her bump in two of them. She was seen wearing a sparkly silver dress whilst stood beside a Christmas tree.
It's the latest cause for celebration for the actor, as she tied the knot with her partner Dan just a few months ago. The couple got married on September 24 this year.
Rebecca - who is also known for working on shows like Shameless and Waterloo Road - has received messages of congratulations following the pregnancy announcement.

Among those who have responded is her brother Jack James Ryan, 26. He had been her co-star recently, as he is a cast member on Corrie, playing the role of Jacob Hay.
"I'm gonna be an uncle," he wrote in the comments of his sister's announcement. He also shared the post on his own account, writing: "Can't believe I'm going to be an uncle".
He wasn't the only former co-star of Rebecca's to respond. Harriet Bibby, 24 - who plays Summer Spellman - wrote over the ness: "Glowing girl. So happy and excited for you".
Kimberly Hart-Simpson, 35 - who played Nicky Wheatley - responded to the news: "Yessssss". She included a number of red heart emojis in her comment to Rebecca.
