Coronation Street's Ryan Connor might be getting a new love interest as he gets a new job.
The actor, Ryan Prescott, was part of a horrifying and harrowing storyline, which saw his character hit with acid when Daisy's evil stalker Justin tried to target her in the Rovers Return on her wedding day.
And now, Ryan has been dealing with navigating having scars while trying to return to his everyday life.
He talks to Carla about returning to work after time away but is afraid of being in the public eye due to his facial scars.
Daisy tries to start a conversation with him but he angrily claims he got a job at the bistro and she can forget about him.
Because of his outburst, he has to call the bistro and ask Leanne for his job. Thankfully, she agrees.
While working his first shift at the bistro, things quickly go awry when a customer complains about his facial scars.
Leanne jumps to his defence and calls him a hero. Ryan only caught the end of the conversation but made a swift exit.
Things might be looking up for Ryan as Leanne agrees he can work behind the scenes until further notice and tells him to start by sorting out a new wine contract.
While on the phone with the supplier, Rose, he starts to flirt with her in hopes of getting a good deal.
Rose is one step ahead and tells him she's seen his social media and asks if he's still single. He does end up securing a great deal for the bistro.
It comes after the actor, Ryan, revealed a darker side of his character will be revealed.
Earlier this month, he said: "When you’ve been through something so traumatic, you end up holding onto anything you can and that’s what Ryan's been doing.
"He does it with Alya, he does it with Crystal, he does it with Daisy. Then he finds himself attaching to Daisy who is pretending to be Crystal.
"It kind of leads him down a darker road after the humiliation, especially with Daisy being one of the only real relationships he has at the moment. It takes him to the next phase of his denial. It’s not like he’s over it."
