Coronation Street's Phill Whittaker star Jamie Kenna appeared on Wednesday's instalment of Lorraine to discuss what happens behind the scenes on the long-running ITV soap.
Phill is preparing to tie the knot with Fiz, played by Corrie stalwart Jennie McAlpine. The proposal shocked Fiz, as it came just after she found out her new boyfriend was writing a book about her ex-husband, and serial killer, John Stape. S
Some viewers have also been hopeful Tyrone Dobbs could have been in with a chance of rekindling things with his former partner. However, Phill decided to apologise to Fiz one last time where he also decided to get down on one knee and propose, leaving her stunned.

She accepted his proposal and teased pictures have revealed the pair, dressed to impress, do make it the venue. Whether they make it to their vows, though, remains to be seen.
Lorraine asked Jamie what soap fans can expect, but he didn't want to give anything away. Jamie joked: "As you can see, it's a perfect day. What more do you need to know?"
An avid Corrie fan, the 48-year-old said he was pretty star struck arriving on the Cobbles for the first time. And on his first day, had to perform a romantic scene with Jennie McAlpine. No pressure, then.
Speaking of his co-star, Jamie said: "I can't speak highly enough of Jenny, she is just a pro. She's so good, she's been in it so long and you expect she's seen so many people coming and going, she's not going to be bothered.
"But she was probably more nervous than I was".
Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV and the ITV Hub
