Mollie Gallagher plays Nina Lucas on Coronation Street who is best known for her dark gothic look.
Nina on the ITV soap is normally dressed from head to toe in black - including her hair, make up and choice of clothing. So when actress Mollie posts to her social media accounts, she looks worlds apart from her on screen alter ego.
After waiting for years to make a drastic change to her hair, Mollie decided that the time was finally right to make a small step. Posting to Instagram, she shared a style update with her 92,000 followers.

Sharing a mirror selfie, she showed that she had added more blonde to the front of her hair. She captioned it: "Been saying I want all blonde hair for like 5 years or summat and this is as far as I’ve got lol."
Mollie also showed off a brighter outfit than what we are used to seeing her in on Corrie. She wore a pink coat with fluffy trim on the collar and sleeves partnered with a huge heart shaped black bag. Her nails were painted red to match her lipstick.
Fans absolutely loved her new look and took to the Instagram post's comments to flood her with compliments. Jordan said: "So pretty I love you Mollie you are the best xx"
Other followers were huge fans of her coat. Duncan said: "Never mind the hair, the COAT" followed with in love emojis.
Brentan said: "Love you pink jacket it gorgeous like you." Meanwhile Nic loved it all, as they said: "Absolutely Stunning Mollie and love your hair, make up and your coat."
