Coronation Street star Julia Goulding branded her co-star 'stunning' before she was inundated with compliments herself over her almost-unrecognisable appearance.
The actress, who is famed for playing Shona Platt in the ITV soap, put on a glamourous display as she headed to the British Soap Awards over the weekend with her fellow Corrie actors as well as the stars of Emmerdale, Hollyoaks, Doctors and EastEnders.
And Julia stunned on the red carpet ahead of the event, which was filmed in front of a live audience before being aired on ITV on Tuesday (June 6), at The Lowry in Salford in a sparkling floor-length gown that boasted a square neckline and dozens of embellishments.

It appeared to come before the pair headed up on stage with co-stars Tina O'Brien and Jude Riordan to pick up the gong for "Best Family" which was awarded to The Platts on the special night which saw Corrie win big on home turf.
Alongside the beaming photo of the pair, Julia typed: "How stunning is @PaddyBever." It comes after fans themselves gushed over the young actor. Paddy, who last year triumphed when he bagged the award for Best Newcomer, took to Instagram the morning after the night before as he posed for a selfie in the mirror of his Corrie dressing room, just a stone's throw from where Jane McDonald took on hosting duties for the glamourous evening.
The soap star gave a little pout for the camera as he held up his phone to take the snap which showed him sporting a crisp, pale blue shirt with beige trousers. He also posted an additional photo from the red carpet which showed him smiling for the camera, this time donning a blazer over his shirt to match his trousers.
He simply captioned the post with two bar of soap emojis before the compliments came flooding in. Corrie's Jenny Connor actress replied: "FIT." While Cait Fitton, who recently played love interest Lauren in the long-running show, commented: "You absolute worldie."
