Coronation Street star Jude Riordan has wowed fans with a career update away from the cobbles.
The St Helens youngster has wowed audiences with his performances as Sam Blakeman on the cobbles. Jude's role in the ITV soap earned him a number of awards last year as he took home the Best Newcomer Prize at both the National Television Awards and the Inside Soap Awards.
The 11-year-old won the hearts of Corrie fans when he made his Weatherfield debut in 2020 after he discovered that Nick Tilsley was his father.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, the young actor shared he is starring in a new short film, titled Hidden. Sharing an image of the film's poster, he said: "On par with the Last Of Us poster. Fans were quick to wish him well. Taking to the comments section, Mel said: "You are just an incredibly talented young actor", while Anne said: "Can't wait to see this, you're amazing".
Kayleigh said: "Such a cool wee actor. Keep doing what you're doing, Jude, you rock". Deborah said: "Looks amazing", and Margaret said: "Looks good Jude cannot wait to see this film".
