Coronation Street's Jennie McAlpine is six months pregnant with her third child.
The actress discovered she was welcoming a new addition to the family whilst on a camping trip where she felt nauseous. Jennie was unsure what was making her feel this way which prompted a pregnancy test to get to the bottom of things.
To her surprise, she discovered she was five weeks pregnant but is now over halfway at the six-month mark. Breaking the revelation with OK!, she said: “It just feels really nice. We’re so over the moon. The thought of adding to our family mix and chaos was the best Christmas present! I’m really excited for 2023 – it’ll be a special one."

Jennie is a mother of two to Albert, eight, and Hilda, four, but revealed the pair are over the moon with the news of a new baby. She added: "They had talked about wanting [a sibling] before.
"We had a scan and then showed the pictures to Albert and Hilda after school – they’re really excited."
In the summer of 2022, as her on-screen character Fiz was set to wed Phill (Jamie Kenna) in a "posh do", Jennie opened up on her real-life wedding to Chris.
The pair tied the knot in 2017, but it was far from the eventful day that saw Fiz walk down the aisle.
Jennie and Chris opted for a more intimate affair and only had son Albert and two witnesses present.
