Coronation Street's Jack P Shepherd shared how "lucky" he was after a close run-in with an open fire almost saw him go up in flames.
The actor and his partner, Hanni Treweek, set off for a romantic getaway to the Lake District to celebrate Valentine's Day earlier this month. The couple stayed in a remote location in Cumbria but as night fell, they needed to use their phone lights as a way to manoeuvre around the area due to the darkness.
Jack told the Sofa Cinema Club podcast the location was romantic but "frightening" given its isolation. In an attempt to illuminate the area, he almost set himself alight after a misfortunate run-in with lighter fluid.
