Coronation Street's Helen Flanagan hits back at trolls after flaunting results of boob job

Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has defended herself after online trolls branded her "tacky" and "unclassy" for posing in front of the camera in a plunging red outfit. Helen, who recently split up from Bristol Rovers footballer Scott Sinclair after dating for 13 years, posted the clip on Instagram to show off the results of her recent boob job.

Last month, Helen, 32, revealed that she had the surgery to make her breasts more "pert". The mother-of-three told fans on Instagram that she was unhappy with "how much they sagged" and how her bra size drastically reduced from an E cup to "not filling a B" after breastfeeding her children.

Flaunting her finished look a month on from her surgery, Helen shared a glamorous video with her one million Instagram followers last week, showing off her "fave Valentine's outfit". The screen star recorded herself getting into a racy red co-ord, which looked like a dress, with the clingy top having a plunging neckline.

Helen slicked her blonde hair back into a neat and classy bun, and accentuated her natural beauty with makeup, applying cat-eye eyeliner and dusting highlighter on her cheeks to give her a subtle glow. After posting the video, Helen received an unfortunate amount of trolling.

Last night, Helen decided to respond to the hate. The star shared a quote to her Instagram grid, reading "Empowered women empower women", and also posted screenshots of the negative comments she had received after uploading the clip.

In the comments reshared by Helen, one follower had accused her of being "fake", whilst another called her "thick as f**k". Someone else decided to voice their opinion by writing, alongside numerous throwing up emojis: "Would you let your daughters out dressed like that."

Addressing the hateful comments towards her on social media, Helen penned: "So I shared a fashion reel a few days ago and I was a bit taken back from the not so nice comments I got on the post. I was more shocked that the majority of them were from women.

"I’m a girls girl and very much for other women and I always have another womens back. I don’t believe women should comment negativily about other women.

"I enjoy seeing women feeling glamorous and feeling empowered and dressing how they want to dress. Sometimes I see outfits that I wouldn’t wear as maybe they are too revealing for me but I just think good on the girl that has the confidence to wear what she wants to wear.

Helen countered the nasty comments by sharing some of the lovely things others had said about her (Helen Flanagan)

"I had some comments from other women about being 'tacky' or 'unclassy' well to me being a woman and speaking so badly of another womens appearance is 'tacky and unclassy'. I never speak badly about how another women looks as it’s just vile.

"I had comments about not being a good role model to my daughters. I will bring up my daughters to be kind, beautiful women that support other women with good morals and girl code.

"Or you can just scroll past…. On social media you don’t like something you don’t have to comment. I love my account I feel like I really connect with others women and mothers and yeah basically I support other women, I don’t drag them down. As women we need each other."

In late 2022, Helen and former fiancé Scott shocked loved ones by announcing that they were going their separate ways. The couple had been together since 2009, got engaged in 2018 and had three children together, who they are now committed to co-parenting.
