Coronation Street star Faye Brookes has announced her split from boyfriend Joe Davies.
The actress - who plays Kate Connor on the ITV soap - took to social media on Tuesday to inform her fans she and Joe have called it quits after almost three years together.
Faye told her followers she and the personal trainer "had the most wonderful of times" together and plan to remain friends.
Updating her 85,000 Twitter followers on her new relationship status, the Dancing on Ice star wrote: "Just wanted to say that, very sadly, after nearly three years Joe and I have decided to go our separate ways.
"We had the most wonderful of times, and our mutual respect, admiration and friendship remains stronger than ever. [love-heart emoji]."
Fans flooded the soap star with well wishes, with one telling Faye: "Always remember the fun times, the good times and the happy times.... just because a chapter has ended doesn't mean the novel has too... glad you're both staying friends."
Faye - who was previously engaged to Gareth Gates - and Joe met thanks to a fitness class at Barry's Bootcamp in Manchester.
"He didn't know who I was when I walked in. I loved that though," Faye recalled to OK! magazine, explaining how her beau was covering the usual instructor's class.
"Joe was covering Amy's class one day and from then on we were living in each other's pockets, because we were just friends. All our friends knew each other."
The couple went public in December 2019 by stepping out together on a date just weeks after Faye denied they were dating.
Lockdown "solidified them as a couple" due to spending lots of time together and fans had even begun to speculate that a proposal could be on the cards, but sadly it appears it's not meant to be.
Faye previously enjoyed a romance with singer Gareth Gates and the pair were even engaged at one point, before splitting in August 2019 after spending seven years dating on and off.
The couple were said to have split amid allegations of blazing arguments and failing to make their relationship work.

Pop Idol star Gareth lashed out at 'lies' being 'made up' in the wake of his split from Faye, saying the "truth will out".
In an Instagram Story, Gareth wrote: "I've learnt over the years that when people make up lies about you, don't rise to it.
"Stay true to yourself knowing that eventually the truth will out.
"Wise words by.. erm.. Me," he added.
