Coronation Street star Ellie Leach has shared some sweet snaps of her lookalike sister Daisy as the youngster celebrated her 14th birthday.
The actress — who is known for playing Faye Windass on the ITV soap — took to Instagram on Tuesday (September 13) to share a heartfelt message for her younger sister to mark the occasion.
In the first post, 21-year-old Ellie shared a throwback snap of the two of them hugging while Daisy wore Hello Kitty pyjamas. Alongside the picture, she wrote: "Happy 14th birthday to my baby sister," with a red heart emoji.
In another, the pair looked dressed for a night out, with Ellie saying she hopes Daisy had "the best day".
Ellie wore a stylish blue and pink dress which she paired with strappy heels. Daisy opted for a classic black-and-white zebra print dress and black heeled boots.
Ellie gushed over her sister in another post, writing: "So proud of who you are growing up to be."
The soap star also posted some hilarious videos of Daisy from when she was young singing along to Katy Perry. Ellie joked: "Watch out Katy Perry."
Ellie recently opened up about suffering with anxiety when meeting new people and said she still gets star-struck when speaking to iconic cast members such as Bill Roache who plays Ken Barlow.
"I’ve been there 11 years and when I see Bill I’ll say hi to him, but then I’m like, ‘Oh my God, it’s Bill!'
"I don’t think those nerves will ever go away. The older cast members are such icons and I can’t believe I’m in the same room as them," she told The Mirror.
Ellie was involved in a storyline last year in which her character was jailed for assault. It meant Ellie spent six months off work.
She said: "I was so anxious I couldn’t sleep the night before. I arrived in the car park and I had to ring Colson Smith [who plays Craig Tinker].
"I said to him: ‘I don’t think I can come in; you might have to come and get me.’ He told me not to be daft, but I struggled to get out of the car, I was so nervous."
