Coronation Street's Colson Smith has issued a "not long left" update to his many fans as the soap approaches a deadline.
The Craig Tinker actor has been at the centre of scenes that saw his fiancé Faye Windass leave Weatherfield. Colson first appeared on the show when he was 12 years old and quickly became one of the cobbles' most loved characters.
On Thursday, Colson took to Instagram to issue a plea to soap fans.

He said: "Hi guys. There is not long left till this year's Soap Awards. Everyone here is super excited and we hope you guys are as well. Make sure you've got your votes in for all things Coronation Street. Fingers crossed!"
Fans were quick to respond in the comments section. Katharine said: "Good luck I’ve voted for you to win, it's been amazing year on the soap you are all amazing".
Mia said: "I've voted for Corrie x", and Simon said: "Craig definitely deserves to find happiness its strange I know its not real but I don't like seeing Craigy upset lol". Patricia said: "Good luck to all, it's been an amazing journey".
