Andy Whyment and Georgia Toffolo were eliminated from the I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here... South African jungle on Monday night after a closely fought challenge.
On Monday night's episode of the ITV show, the Coronation Street legend and the former Made In Chelsea star were sent packing after losing out in the old Rush challenge to fellow campmates Jordan Banjo and Myleene Klass.
They were then tasked with putting the gold nuggets on a scale and the first team to get the scales to tip the other way were able to return to camp and win their Pride a picnic, whilst the others had to go straight home reports the Mirror.
Following his exit, the Corrie star took to Instagram with a sweet message.
He wrote: "So tonight me and @georgiatoffolo lost the trial so had to leave camp, like I said on screen I found it tough with the lack of food but still had some fantastic moments in camp as well.
"I would’ve liked to have stayed longer but I feel like I was winner just being asked to go back and do the show again.
Thanks for the memories in 2019 and in South Africa @imacelebrity @itv I’ll be forever grateful"
And Toff took to her Instagram story, writing: "I had SUCH a brilliant time with everyone in the jungle. I'm gutted to have left but having the opportunity to go into the Jungle twice is something I'll always be grateful for. thank you for your support always"
Following his departure, Andy accused his I'm A Celeb co-stars of abusing presenting duo And and Dec.
He told the Sun: “I’m just a normal down to earth guy and I just don’t like it when people are rude."
"When Ant and Dec came in early doors she was talking about what they were wearing and saying ‘you look terrible’ and it’s like, these are the hosts of the show.
“These are massive stars in the UK and you’re just blatantly abusing them on national television. I know Janice is a really, really famous person whereas I’m just Kirk from Corrie but manners cost nothing.”
He added: “I was in the jungle with Caitlyn Jenner in 2019 and she’s a massive star and she wasn’t rude like Janice. I don’t think there’s any need for it."
I'm A Celebrity... South Africa continues 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
