Alexandra Mardell quit Coronation Street earlier this year, after more than three years of playing bubbly hairdresser Emma.
The star's character wore lots of pink, first arriving on the cobbles as an apprentice at Audrey's salon. She had a brief fling with Audrey's grandson David when she first arrived, before a rocky romance almost led her to marrying troublemaker Curtis Delamere.
In February, the actress said it was the "right time" to put Emma behind her and to move on to new opportunities.

When she left the soap, Alex announced she would be taking a step back from performing. Instead, she would be running drama workshops in her home city of Leeds.
But the star has now returned to acting, and has shared the details with her many social media followers. Alex stars in BBC Radio 4 sitcom 'No-Platformed'.
The three-part programme tells the tale of "three members of staff, one dysfunctional train station, zero passengers". It is billed as a "big-name comedy that drives a train through sitcom-land via a platform crowded with very silly jokes".
The first instalment airs tonight (Wednesday) at 11pm on Radio 4. Sharing the news on Instagram on Tuesday, Alex said: "Did a thing! A @bbcradio4 thing!
"If you fancy a listen - ‘No Platformed’ - Starts tomorrow on BBC Radio 4 - 11pm - the 1st of 4 weekly eps or catch up on @bbcsounds"
