Coronation Street star Alan Halsall has made a plea to soap fans as his character Tyrone secretly plans a wedding for him and Fiz.
While the pair have been together for years, and navigated a number of emotional and literal storms, marriage has never really been on the cards - until now. Earlier this month, Ty got down on one knee and Fiz said yes "with all of her heart".
The character played by Jennie McAlpine has no idea about the occasion and is frustrated with Tyrone's seeming disinterest in making Christmas plans.
