Residents of the UK, and the rest of the globe, will bare witness to the coronation of King Charles III on May 6.
The Coronation is due to begin at Westminster Abbey at 11 am where the monarch will be anointed in a ceremony tradition dating back approximately 1,000 years.
In celebration of the event a new bank holiday, Monday, May 8, has been established and citizens have been encouraged to organise street parties throughout the weekend.
