Coronation street parties in Bristol shown on map with more than 60 locations

With the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III and a bonus bank holiday just around the corner, Bristolians are preparing to celebrate in style with street parties being held across the city. Bristol City Council has now revealed a list of 64 streets that have applied for road closures for street parties over the long weekend of the Coronation.

The events span the city and from a street party in Southville hosted by the aptly named Coronation pub with music, cider slushies and silent disco on Saturday, May 6, to tea, games, music and picnics on Chandos Road in Redland on Monday, May 8.

Applications to hold a street party closed on Sunday, April 2, but with so many celebrations being held around Bristol as well as several official 'Coronation Big Lunches' in areas such as Cadbury Heath, Long Ashton, Keynsham, Chipping Sodbury, Wrington and Weston-super-Mare, Bristolians can be sure of finding festivities nearby.
