A number of Coronation Street fans were forced to switch the soap off on Friday night as Stephen Reid's manipulation of Carla Connor continued.
Not content with committing two murders, Stephen's latest plan is to take the Underworld factory away from boss Carla Connor. Playing on her previous mental health history with psychosis, Stephen has been spiking her drinks with LSD in a bid to make her think she is having more episodes.
The latest instalment of the long-running ITV soap saw Stephen eyeing up Carla's keys as she sustained a minor injury while making a round of hot drinks.

With Carla such a fan favourite, many viewers have voiced their upset at the storyline, with some calling for it to be wrapped up and for Stephen to be caught out.
The latest episode appears to have pushed some soap fans too far. Taking to Twitter just minutes into Corrie on Friday, Ashley said: "Enough is enough now, switching off, someone tweet me when this storyline ends".
Kelly said: "Can't wait for this storyline with Stephen to be over with. It's making me want to switch off until he's gone".
Lucy said: "When is this going to end it's getting ridiculous now", and @Bufferb2012 said: "Time to switch off I can't bear any more". Ryan said: "This Stephen storyline is a step too far".
ITV has been approached for comment.
