Coronation Street viewers saw Tyrone and Fiz get engaged on Wednesday night, after it being a long time coming.
While the pair have been together for years, and navigated a number of emotional and literal storms, marriage has never really been on the cards - until now. But in this week's first trip to the cobbles, Ty got down on one knee and Fiz said yes "with all of her heart".
Tyrone was unprepared and had no ring, but as he popped the question in Roy's Rolls, Shona was on hand to offer him a "cheap" ring she was wearing, that could then be the pair's "something borrowed".

But as Fiz and her future husband dashed off to plan a wedding, soap fans watching at home made the same prediction. It comes after Ty cheated on his long-term partner with Underworld machinist Alina Pop, last year, before walking out on Fiz, Hope and Ruby to be with her.
When Tyrone realised he still loved Fiz, Alina left Weatherfield. But unbeknown to Tyrone, Alina was pregnant when she boarded the plane. Viewers saw Alina turn down the wine list at the airport and order a soft drink before softly placing her hand on her stomach.
Taking to Twitter, Doreen said: "When Fiz and Ty get married is Alina going to rock up with the baby and ask if the vicar can do a christening as well?", while Owen said: "So when Fiz and Tyrone get married will Alina gate-crash with baby and we’ll know it’s Tyrone’s as it won’t have a rattle it’ll have a spanner".
Kerry said: "Fiz and Ty engaged, cue the return of Alina with the baby", while Alicia said: "Bring on the wedding day, hope Alina rocks up with his baby". Daisy said: "Cue Alina with the kid at the wedding". Emma said: "It won't last, Fiz won't cope when Alina comes back it'll be like Sally and Jack all over again".
