Coronation Street's eagle-eyed viewers are back at it again as they spotted a 'huge continuity error' during the soap's latest scenes. During Monday night's trip to the cobbles, Gary Windass paid a visit to Rick Neelan's house.
It comes after his body was discovered at the site of the new Weatherfield County training ground three years after reformed bad boy Gary killed the loan shark after he threatened his then-girlfriend Sarah Platt and their families.
In Friday night's episode (April 15) of the ITV soap there was drama as Kelly said farewell to her murdered gangster dad flanked by her guardians Gary and Maria Windass. But as the devastated teen paid her respects to her father she was in for a shock as a stranger marched into the church and interrupted the service. And when he was asked if he was there to say a few words about Rick, he took aim and vengefully spat on his coffin.
After paying her final respects to her dad, Kelly went back home and had to prepare to say a final farewell to her mum, Laura, who tragically died in heartbreaking scenes aired earlier this month. Laura's death from cancer came after Gary revealed the truth to Laura about Rick's murder, but she took to rap and was charged with murder to ensure her daughter could stay with her guardians.
Now, Gary is trying to stay true to his word and has gone about sorting Rick's former house which has been left to Kelly - alongside all his money. But while there with builders Ed Bailey and Paul Foreman, they found a holdall containing £17,000 in cash under the floorboards.
Ed assumed Gary would go to the police with all the dodgy cash but Gary took it home where he and Maria presented the cash to Kelly and told the teen that it's up to her what happens to it but that it'd be good to use to set her up for her future. An uncomfortable Kelly wasn't sure but was later seen with the holdall heading for the tramstop, leaving fans to wonder what exactly she'll do with the cash.
In the meantime, Corrie fans were taking to social media to point out a bit of a problem.
