Coronation Street viewers were left feeling queasy thanks to two characters from the same family.
On Monday night's episode, Paul Foreman returned to work after his recent freak accident on the cobbles.
His accident happened when Carla Connor ploughed into him on a motorbike while she was driving the Underworld van and had been, unbeknownst to her, drugged with LSD by evil Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce).
After a trip to the hospital, he seemingly made a quick recovery but it looked like things still weren't right as he struggled to properly use his hands.
His secret struggles didn't stop him from asking his boss to let him work. His boss, Ed Bailey, allowed him to return on the condition he took things easy.
Paul later used a saw and, if it wasn't for his boss, he most likely would have chopped a thumb off.
Viewers felt 'sick' at the scene and took to Twitter to comment on it.
"Ffs Paul, it's so obvious it's not safe for you to be working! He would so easily have lost a hand or some fingers just now. He should speak to a GP #Corrie," one person said.
Another added: "Just spent most of that scene hiding behind a cushion," while one said: "I feel sick."
Meanwhile, his sister Gemma Winter made viewers uncomfortable when she was trying wedding cakes with Daisy Midgeley.
Daisy was scared the cakes sent to her home could have been tampered with as they were sent by her stalker, Justin.
As Gemma didn't want the food to go to waste, she tucked in and tested a lot of the cakes while the others watched.
Viewers were, again, feeling 'sick' because of her eating habits and complained on Twitter.
"Seriously, Gemma talking with her mouth full makes me sick...and it's really not good to portray. Also, she could choke if she's not careful, for the sake of art," one person said.
"My God enough with the Gemma eating scenes," another posted while one begged: "Can the writers PLEASE listen…STOP showing Gemma eating and talking with her mouth full and wide open, IT IS DISGUSTING AND I DON’T WANT SEE IT ANYMORE!"
