A Corrie favourite hasn't been seen on our screens in a little while and fans were delighted when he returned tonight.
On the ITV soap, Sam Blakeman, played by St Helens actor Jude Riordan, has been grieving ever since the devastating loss of his mum, Natasha Blakeman (Rachel Leskovac).
Jude's powerful performances on the show throughout 2021 have been one of the main talking points on the long running soap in the past year.

Nick Tilsey (Ben Price) grew increasingly concerned about the youngster as he became mute as he struggled to deal with his grief.
In the latest storyline, which we saw start to unravel tonight, Sam appears to have found his voice again.
He has gained a new interest to help take his mind off his grief, as he began to practice chess.
Roy Cropper has been helping the youngster improve his game and offered to tutor him to help him get better at it.
The likes of Carla Connor (Alison King) and Becky McDonald (Katherine Kelly) have all also benefited from Roy's kind heart over the years.
Fans were delighted to see him looking happier as he appeared back on the soap and took to Twitter.
