Coronation Street viewers were a little confused during the latest episode of the ITV soap.
The episode, which aired on Wednesday, saw with the aftermath of Summer Spellman, played by actress Harriet Bibby, having been held against her will at the home of the sinister Mike Hargrave, Tom Lorcan.
Summer was imprisoned by Mike after he discovered that she was reconsidering being a surrogate for him and wife Esther Hargrave (Vanessa Hehir), who want to have a child together.
He trapped Summer, who has diabetes, in a room of his house, but she was without her insulin and later collapsed. She was taken to hospital, with the police then investigating the circumstances of the incident.
Whilst in hospital, other characters checked in on Summer - including her dad Billy Mayhew ( Daniel Brocklebank ). She encouraged him not to stay with her all day though.

He agreed with the suggestion and decided to run some errands, and moments after he walked out of the ward, Mike appeared from behind a curtain and frightened Summer.
Mike pressured Summer to retract her statement to the police. He was interupted by other visitors Todd Grimshaw ( Gareth Pierce ) and Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) though.

Some viewers however were confused over Billy not noticing Mike as he left the ward, with them taking to Twitter earlier this week to share their confusion over the scene.
One tweeted: ""As if Billy didn’t see Mike when leaving. Do they think we’re thick?"
Another riled fan asked: "Are you trying to tell me that Billy wouldn't have seen Mike behind the curtains when he walked out of the door?" Another said: "How did Billy not see Mike?"
A third wrote: "How come Billy didn't notice Mike who entered Ward 4 about half a second after Billy departed?" Another tweeted: "Billy just literally walked past Mike?!???"
"So Billy didn't see Mike hiding behind the curtain round the hospital bed? Should have gone to Specsavers," wrote a fifth.
One wrote: "What…how did Billy not see Mike…"
