Coronation Street's Harriet Bibby sent a heartfelt message after her co-star's exit.
The soap star is renowned for her role as Summer Spellman in the ITV show. Her character has been through a harrowing time on the Cobbles as her onscreen boyfriend, Aaron Sandford, raped her best friend, Amy Barlow.
The hard-hitting storyline has played out over the past few months as Aaron denied his actions. However, the character, played by James Craven, finally confronted his actions in Friday's episode as he exited Weatherfield.

Thank you for being the best on-screen boyfriend and partner in crime, lots of love, your Summer xxx"
James responded: "You have truly made this experience incredible! Thank you for your kindness, your generosity and for always making me laugh."
