Corona launch new Tropical flavours and we test them out at a family hot tub party

Corona have released a tantilising new range of alcoholic cans for those long summer nights- and we are SO in favour.

The new release includes Guava & Lime, Raspberry & Lemon, and Grapefruit & Lemongrass - and as you will see from our hot tub party, they are great for family get togethers for an evening of laughs with loved ones.

Corona Tropical is a refreshing distilled spirit-based beverage that’s 4.5% ABV and made with no added sugar and less than 100 calories- a HUGE selling point for us ladies wanting to stay trim during the hotter months while still enjoying a tipple or ten!

Here's our verdict.

As we lowered ourselves into the hot tub and all gave out that sigh of utter bliss, we knew there was just one thing missing- a drink in hand!

My mum and aunties love a prosecco and anything with a bit of fizz, so I knew the Corona Tropical testers would be a win.

I put them in the freezer to quickly cool (while they all immediately set up a photoshoot for the occasion).

Lippy on, hats on and ready to show you just how much we enjoyed our taste testing in the glorious May sun.

In general, they are very tonic like (soda water likeliness).

Initially, they seemed really quite watery BUT they grow on you.

If you are somebody who doesn't like a G&T or weaker tonic flavoured drink, then these cans may not be for you- but we loved them.

They are subtle enough to enjoy as a refresher in the sun, but a tad more tang wouldn't go a miss- and that was the general thoughts across my board of reviewers (aka the fizz loving aunties and mother).

We really loved them as a great refreshment while chilling in the garden nevertheless.

My beautiful mum and aunties all had one flavour each to test but all had a clear favourite- the Raspberry & Lemon.

Again, all the flavours were nice and subtle, but this one stuck out as the sweetest which we all wanted to finish.

The products are available now at selected Tesco, Budgens, Londis and Premier stores in 330ml single cans and an 8x330ml Variety Pack (£2.75/£16).
