Mariska Hargitay has highlighted allegations in a Cornell University fraternity assault lawsuit as viral posts revive controversy over how the Ivy League institution disciplines pro-Palestine protesters.

Cornell's own statements confirm that its Title IX process led to expulsions and suspensions in the Chi Phi case, and that it has separately suspended protesters, but publicly available records do not support the stronger online claim that the university expelled Palestine protesters while sparing the seven men named in the lawsuit.
