Corn Fading Lower at Midday

CmdtyView

Corn futures are down 1 to 2 ½ cents at midday, with most contracts feeling pressure continue to start the week. The CmdtyView national average Cash Corn price is 2 ½ cents lower at $3.68 1/4. 

Amid the government shutdown, Monday is Columbus Day, a federal holiday. Thus, the Export Inspections report that would normally be out this morning is pushed back to Tuesday.
