French champagne, caviar and a pamper zone will all feature in the exclusive Birdcage enclosure during Melbourne Cup week.
Six days out from the race that stops the nation at Flemington Racecourse, the Victoria Racing Club on Wednesday unveiled what was in store for those lucky enough to secure an exclusive spot.
G.H. Mumm will be the official champagne of the cup carnival, with model and actress Jessica Gomes popping open a bottle in front of avid onlookers.
Hair and make-up touch ups will take place at the Pamper Lounge, while caviar potato blinis and prawn cocktails will be on offer at the Crown marquee.
"The Birdcage represents the very essence of the Melbourne Cup carnival," VRC chief executive Steve Rosich said.
"We've seen premium hospitality spaces that offer unparalleled design, creativity and sophistication.
"The Birdcage is not just a location - it is an experience."
Tickets to the enclosure are $495 per person but it's too late to snag a spot - the Birdcage is sold out for every day of the cup carnival.
Derby Day will be the first of the key races this weekend, followed by the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday, Oaks Day on Thursday and Stakes Day the following Saturday.
