A Cork Euromillions player is leaving it close to collect their prize, with just days left to grab their €50,000 winnings from the Ireland Only Raffle.
A renewed appeal was made by the National Lottery for players in the county to check their old tickets from a draw last year on Tuesday 13 December.
The ticket itself was purchased at O’Hare’s Mace at Turners Cross in Cork City just two days before the draw, on Sunday 11 December.

The deadline to claim the prize is the close of business on Wednesday 15 March, as ticket holders have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize. This means that the lucky winner has just six days left to get their handsome prize.
The winning raffle code in the EuroMillions ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ draw on Tuesday 13 December was: NPZ88051 - NPZ88052.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the National Lottery called on all EuroMillions players in Cork to carefully check their old tickets from December to make sure they do not miss out on the whopping prize.
“It’s getting very close to the deadline for one Cork EuroMillions player who has a prize worth €50,000 yet to claim from December’s draw," the Lotto spokesperson said.
"The player who purchased their quick pick ticket for the 13 December draw at O’Hares Mace in Turners Cross, Cork City has just days left to claim their prize.
“The last date to claim this prize is Wednesday, 15 March so we are encouraging all our players who purchased their ticket at the O'Hares Mace to clear out their cars and check their coat pockets for any old EuroMillions tickets.”
If you are the winner, please be sure to sign the back of your winning ticket and immediately contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and we will make arrangements for you to claim your prize.”
