West Cork communities have been coming together to pay tributes to a well-known butcher following his passing.
Butcher Flor O'Driscoll was a valued staff member of Michael Twomey Butchers in Macroom and was known for his bubbly personality and infectious laugh, Cork Beo reports.
The staff of Michael Twomey Butchers will be closing doors early this evening and on Saturday as a mark of respect for their cherished co-worker.

Mr O’Driscoll’s family has described him as ‘a beloved husband’ who treasured his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Tributes are being paid online for Flor with many sharing their memories of the friendly butcher.
Michael Twomey Butchers wrote on social media: "It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we inform you of the death of our colleague and friend, Flor O'Driscoll, who passed away on Wednesday, 22nd March. Flor was a valued member of our team, who worked in Macroom, Bantry and Bandon.
"He was not just a colleague, but a friend to all of us. He will always be remembered for his jokes, humour and his infectious laugh. Flor was a bubbly character who was great with staff & customers alike. He will be sadly missed from our Twomey family.
"We offer our heartfelt condolences to Flor's wife, Caroline, his mother Ann, his sisters Noreen, Patricia, Annette, Cathy & Pamela and to all his relatives and friends.
"As a mark of respect, we will close our shops, Macroom & Bantry at 6 pm tomorrow evening (Friday 24th), and at 1 pm on Saturday 25th. Suaimhneas síoraí ar a anam dílis."
One wrote: “Flor was a gentleman and will be hugely missed. Always have a chat and laugh over the counter. Deepest condolences to his family and his work colleagues in Twomeys. RIP.”
While another commented: “RIP Flor, you were always guaranteed a laugh when he was working.
Sympathies to his family, friends and all his work colleagues”

Mr O'Driscoll’s funeral notices say: “Reposing in Fitz-Gerald’s Funeral Home Macroom, from 6pm Friday with Removal at 8pm to St John the Baptist Church, Ballinagree.
“Funeral Saturday, after 2pm Requiem Mass, to St Colman’s Cemetery, Macroom.”
