Police remain at a "complex" scene seven weeks after discovering drugs and suspected chemicals.
Detectives found suspected Class B and Class A drugs in a unit at Hartley's Village, Aintree, on Wednesday, May 24. Around 18 cannabis plants were found at the scene.
After carrying out a warrant in other units on Long Lane the following day (May 25), police then discovered a large quantity of suspected chemicals. Police were unable to confirm to the ECHO what the chemicals were.

Officers remain at the scene weeks on from that discovery. Pictures taken on Monday (July 10) showed an extensive investigation continues, and residents reported seeing activity for several weeks.
A police cordon remains in place on Long Lane and Hartley Avenue while crime scene investigators continue their examinations. A number of police vehicles were parked at the scene on Monday, while one remained at the scene on Tuesday (July 11).
Detective Inspector Katie Coote said: “Our investigation on the Hartley’s Village site is ongoing due to how complex the scene is within the site.
“Please rest assured that there is no risk to the wider public, and we are doing our best to wrap up the investigation on site as soon as we can.
“We really appreciate the support from residents and businesses in the area, and thank them for this including the inconvenience it may be causing.”
The local policing team is in the process of organising a community surgery for residents to pop by and chat to officers. Residents will receive a letter to announce the details soon.
Det Insp Coote added: “We continue to appeal to anyone with information who we haven’t spoken to please contact us. Any information you have, no matter how small you may think it is, could be vital to our ongoing enquiries.”
