The Arizona Diamondbacks have made a significant move in the offseason by agreeing to a $210 million, six-year contract with pitcher Corbin Burnes. The deal, pending a successful physical, positions Burnes as one of the highest-paid pitchers in the league.
Burnes, a 30-year-old right-hander, had an impressive season with the Baltimore Orioles, posting a 15-9 record and a 2.92 ERA. This performance made him a highly sought-after free agent in the market.
