Cops search for missing Scots man with 'distinctive pink hair'

Police in Renfrewshire are asking for the help of the public to trace a 36-year-old man reported missing from the Johnstone area, who has distinctive pink hair.

Christopher Weir was last seen around 11am today, Tuesday, December 20, on the town's High Street. He may have then travelled to the Paton's Mill Retail Park or along the nearby cycle path.

Police say he also has connections in the Burns Drive area of the town. He is described as white, around 5ft 9ins, of average build with distinctive pink hair. He was wearing black jeans, a leather jacket and black Doc Marten boots.

Inspector Lorna McLaren of Police Scotland said: “Concerns are growing for Christopher’s welfare and we are asking anyone who may have seen him or knows where he is to get in touch.

“Christopher has distinctive pink hair and we are asking people who are out about shopping, walking, cycling or driving to keep an eye out and call us if you see him.”

Anyone who can help should call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 1646 of Tuesday, December 20, 2022.
