Police have launched an investigation after a man’s body was found in a village near Edinburgh.
Emergency services were called to an area of Ratho at around 9.30am on Monday, December 19.
Enquiries to establish the full circumstances remain ongoing with investigators treating it as ‘unexplained’.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal as is the case with all sudden deaths.
A statement from Police Scotland said: “Around 9.30am on Monday, 19 December, 2022, officers received a report of a man having been found dead in the Ratho area.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
