Police have launched a desperate search for two missing teens who were last seen in a Lanarkshire town. Lucas McCombe and Jamie Marc Walker were last seen around 1 pm on Thursday, 19th January, in Coatbridge.
The 14 and 15-year-old boys from Airdrie are believed to be together. Lucas is described as being around 5'5" tall with fair or blond hair with blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue Nike zipper jacket, black trousers and black Nike trainers.
Jamie is described as being around 5'11" tall with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers. Police are asking anyone who may have seen the boys to get in contact and assist with their enquires.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We are appealing for the public’s help as part of our efforts to trace two missing boys from Airdrie, Lanarkshire. 14-year-old Lucas McCombe and 15-year-old Jamie Marc Walker. Lucas was last seen about 1.30pm on Thursday, 19th January, 2023, and is descried as 5'5", fair/blond hair, blue eyes, wearing a blue Nike zipper jacket, black trousers and black Nike trainers.
"Jamie was last seen about 1pm on Thursday, 19th January, 2023, and is descried as 5'11", brown hair, blue eyes, wearing a black jacket, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers. It is believed they are together in the Coatbridge area of Lanarkshire."
Anyone who may have seen Lucas or Jamie since this time, or who has any information which may assist us with enquiries, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident 3830 or 3749 of Thursday, 19th January, 2023.
