Cops cordon off Scots house with man arrested amid ‘ongoing police enquiry’

Police have launched an investigation at a property in Linlithgow after being called to an "ongoing incident" at the home.

Officers swooped on Lennox Gardens in the West Lothian town.

They are expected to remain in attendance at the property “for some time” as they carry out their investigations.

A 61-year-old has been arrested in connection.

He was later released pending further enquiries.

However, Police Scotland has stressed that there is no risk to the public at this time.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Officers are at an address in Lennox Gardens, Linlithgow, as part of an ongoing police enquiry.

“They are expected to remain at the address for some time.

“There is no cause for concern or risk to the public. Enquiries are continuing.”
